How we handle your personal data at El Torito Cars.

1.Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide the service:
·Contact data: name, email and phone when you leave a lead or create an account.
·Billing data: tax ID/ID and address when you request a fiscal invoice or parts delivery.
·Usage data: pages visited, courses viewed, codes scanned with the app, purchase history.
·Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser and user agent.
·Vehicle data (optional): year, version and mileage of your Corsa if you enter them in the app for personalized diagnostics.
2.How we use your data
Data is used exclusively to:
·Provide the services you request (courses, diagnostics, parts sales, support).
·Contact you about your account, purchases or requests.
·Send you commercial communications about new courses, scanner and promotions — only if you agreed to receive them when registering, and always with an option to unsubscribe.
·Improve the platform: analyze which content is most useful, fix bugs and prioritize new features.
·Comply with legal obligations (billing, responses to competent authorities).
3.Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage for basic functions. We do not use third-party ad cookies nor share your browsing with ad networks.
·Competent authorities: only when there is a valid judicial or administrative order.
·All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the authorized purpose.
5.Storage and security
We store your data on servers located in data centers with restricted access, protected by HTTPS and encryption in transit and at rest when applicable. We apply role-based access control: only authorized personnel access personal data. We perform periodic backups. Although we take reasonable measures, no system is 100% secure; if you detect an incident notify us immediately.
6.Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
·Access the personal data we have about you.
·Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
·Delete your account and associated data, except when we must keep them by legal obligation (e.g. billing).
·Data portability: export your history in a readable format.
·Object to processing for commercial purposes and unsubscribe from communications.
·Exercise these rights by writing to privacidad@eltoritocars.com from the email associated with your account.
7.Minors
The platform is intended for people over 18 years of age. We do not deliberately collect data from minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian and detect that a minor under your guardianship has provided us data without authorization, contact us and we will delete it.
8.Policy changes
We may update this policy when laws, our practices or services change. Changes are published here with a new "Last updated" date. If the change significantly affects how we treat your data, we will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance.
