Terms and Conditions

1.Purpose and scope

El Torito Cars is a technical platform dedicated to the Chevrolet Corsa in Venezuela (1996–2009 versions). These terms govern your use of the eltoritocars.com website, the mobile app and all associated products and services: training courses, our own OBD-II scanner, parts catalog and informational content. By accessing or registering you declare that you have read and accepted these terms.

2.Services we offer

We put four service lines at your disposal, all focused on the Venezuelan Corsa:

• ·Training: level-based courses with video lessons, downloadable guides, exams and a verifiable electronic certificate.
• ·Diagnostics: our own OBD-II scanner (Bluetooth Low Energy) that connects to the mobile app to read error codes, sensors, temperature and fuel consumption in real time.
• ·Parts: catalog with search by part, year and model, prices in Bs. and USD, integrated checkout and delivery options.
• ·Mobile app: Android application that brings together the three modules above; partially works offline (downloaded courses and local diagnostics).

3.Registration and account

Some features require an account (course enrollment, diagnostic history, parts purchases). By registering you agree to:

• ·Provide true, accurate and up-to-date information.
• ·Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• ·Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• ·Not transfer your account or share it with third parties.
• ·Be of legal age (18) or have authorization from your legal representative.

4.Prices, payments and billing

Prices are shown in Bolívares (Bs.) and US Dollars (USD). The Bs. amount is calculated with the official rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) of the day. We accept:

• ·Pago Móvil (Bs.) with automatic verification.
• ·Bank transfer in Bs. to the accounts shown at checkout.
• ·USD transfer through authorized providers.
• ·Prices may change without prior notice; the valid price is the one shown when you confirm the purchase.
• ·We issue a fiscal invoice on request during checkout, showing the buyer's tax ID/ID.

5.Delivery and shipping

For parts and physical products we offer three delivery methods:

• ·Store pickup: no extra cost, coordinated via WhatsApp once payment is confirmed.
• ·Local delivery (Caracas Metropolitan Area): flat rate, delivery within 24–48 business hours.
• ·Nationwide shipping: coordinated by Zoom or MRW; cost is charged by the agency upon receipt, delivery time depends on the zone.
• ·Times are estimates; delays caused by shipping agencies are not El Torito Cars' responsibility.

6.Training certificates

When you pass a course's final exam we issue an electronic certificate with a unique 12-character code. Anyone can verify its authenticity at /verify by entering that code. Certificates are personal, non-transferable and do not replace official degrees from state-accredited institutions. We reserve the right to revoke certificates obtained through fraud or impersonation.

7.Scanner and app usage

The OBD-II scanner and app are informational diagnostic tools, not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified mechanic. By using them you agree that:

• ·Diagnostics are based on codes and data reported by the vehicle; there may be faults not detectable via OBD-II.
• ·Repair guides are general suggestions; consult a professional before intervening in critical components (brakes, steering, airbags, engine).
• ·We are not liable for vehicle damage or injuries resulting from interventions performed without proper training.
• ·The scanner has a factory warranty for defects (see refund policy). Misuse or abuse voids the warranty.

8.Intellectual property

All platform content (course videos, guides, app code, design, marks and logos) is owned by El Torito Cars or licensed from third parties. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access the purchased or free content. It is prohibited to: download, redistribute, republish, resell or create derivative works without written authorization. Course videos include DRM and downloading them outside the app violates these terms.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, El Torito Cars will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our maximum liability to the user, for any claim, will not exceed the amount paid for the service or product that gave rise to the claim in the previous 12 months. The platform is offered "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, total absence of errors, or compatibility with all devices.

10.Modifications

We may update these terms when our services change, applicable law changes, or we deem it necessary. Changes are announced on this same page with a new "Last updated" date and, when the change is material, by email to registered users. Continued use of the service after the change implies acceptance.

11.Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the Caracas Metropolitan Area, without prejudice to consumer rights recognized by law. If any clause is invalid, the rest of the terms remain in force.
